Why is the Goalie Guide different to all the rest?
The Goalie Guide offers a unique service for hockey goalkeepers by providing additional strength & conditioning training that focuses on the key fundamentals required as a goalkeeper: stability/balance, agility, speed, explosiveness and strength.

This is something that I identified throughout my playing career, and as a coach, which lacked acknowledgement and was not provided as part of standard goalkeeper (GK) training, all the way from junior to senior level players. ​

Too often we see goalkeepers who are not robust enough to withstand the rigours of the game, sadly meaning their full potential is never reached.

Our coaching delivers structured, programmed sessions that improve: a goalkeeper's physical conditioning, performance, techniques and technical focus all whilst having fun. ​​
THE GOALIE GUIDE SERVICES
121 COACHING
We provide 121 coaching for any age, ability or experience. Sessions are designed to meet every individual needs, from building confidence, to building on existing skills and knowledge, to maximise your full potential to take you to the next level, and with your enjoyment as a priority
GROUP/CLUB SESSIONS
Our group coaching allows players to be in an environment that enables learning, growth and improve in a competitive surrounding. It is a great way for participants to all work together with a shared purpose and goals.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Within all our sessions we incorporate specific strength & conditioning training, relevant to the age group (tailored around your needs) to help improve physical performance and enhance movement qualities.
Our programmes specifically focus on developing Gks physical development through learning key fundamental movements, that will certainly maximise performance and skills, such as strength, agility, speed, core stability and hand eye coordination.
